| Holy Lord, Creator of all things, We all humbly come together in different parts of the country to pray for our nation, I am asking for your sovereign hand to be upon us all... We pray for the City of New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania... Be with all of the Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, and Rescue Units as the try to find all those hurt, missing or deceased in this awful tragedy. They will be broken men and women, fragile from what they have experience so far... Please mend their hearts so that they will be able to complete the task that lay before them. We pray for all of the Hospitals... Give strength and endurance as they treat the many who will be sent to them. Shield them for this disaster will hurt the hearts and souls of many Doctors, Nurses and Staff Members as well. Grant to them wisdom in knowing their limitations, and peace as they except them. We pray for the families... Please dear Lord be with the families. Touch all those who know that they have lost loved ones and be with those who are waiting still of news. Surround those hearts with Your love and give to them Your perfect peace for it will only be in Your loving peace that they will get through this terrible nightmare. We pray for the Military and the Government.... Provide to them your wisdom, not to rush in, but to take the time be wise and just. Bring unity and courage for them to do what is right in your sight O God. Help them to get past the anger and hurt so that their minds will be clear to focus and think. Lastly Lord we pray for our Commander and Chief - President Bush... He has a very difficult job ahead of him Lord and the world will be watching him. Guard his heart and mind. Be his strength, his light, his wisdom, his peace. Be his buckler, his strong tower, his shield. Protect him and guide him through this trial and bring him out victorious as Your Glory will be made known to the world! We pray all of this in Jesus Name... God Bless American! Amen and Amen.
