A Mother's Poem
For MichaelBeneath my heart you grew strong and true
And became someone I loved and knew
God knit you together inside my womb
And He took you back to Him much too soon
For you, however, no sadness we feel
Only for us, and that, time will heal
For you have gone to a fairer clime
That I will see when God feels it is time
He will keep you for me, safe and warm
In the shelter of His Everlasting arms
So, until I again see your face so fair
Watch over me from heaven, and wait for me there.
