RAINSHADOW LABRADOR RETRIEVERS

In 1983, my family bought its first labrador, Sam. Thanks to the best obedience instructor on earth and lots of hard work, he became a decent canine citizen and I became hooked on Labs. In 1985, I got MY first labrador, Sable, to train in obedience and conformation. I haven't looked back since.

BIG NEWS

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida is now official and growing by the minute thanks to Sheree Paskert, Amy Gagnon and a list of volunteers that is getting longer every day! If you are thinking about a puppy, why not consider a rescue lab instead? And if you are interested in getting involved in lab rescue or donating to the cause, send an email to rescue!

South gets second in American Bred Yellow, Sophie gets 3rd in Hunting Retriever and Stella makes the cut in her sweepstakes class at the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac's 25th Anniversary Specialty!

So far 2000 has had it's ups and downs. In March, I lost my oldest girl at 14 1/2. We've been busy with training and shows, with Miss Stella being quite a hit. She is practically undefeated in the puppy classes and has wowed her fans ringside. Sophie and I are dealing with "futility" work and her "issues" about needing to retrieve EVERY bumper no matter who it was thrown for and that she hasn't been sent yet. Right now we're going to enjoy our break from shows and traveling and relax in the air conditioning until fall.
