Boxer Dula's Home Page

This was the first German website for a Boxer

Many thanks to Dr. Calvin D. Gruver who translated the English version

It's true that in my pedigree my name is Dudel von Deepenbrook, but I'm called Dula, and I was born on March 29, 1994, in Hamburg. I am 56 cm (about 22 inches) tall and weigh 26 kg (about 57 lbs), and my mistress is very careful that it stays that way. Naturally it's easy for her to watch my weight, but it's a different matter when it comes to herself. My coat is very easy to take care of - daily brushing will do. My folks reject wearing anything blue or black, since it is impossible to keep my hair from being seen on dark clothing. My folks think I have some sense now, but they still have bad thoughts about my younger days. When I had to stay alone then I always found something to keep me busy. For instance, it was a lot of fun to chew holes in the sofa and decorate the apartment with the stuffing. And it was really fun when they bought a nice new carpet, and I found out that I could just scratch it a bit and I had a nice string that I could pull on and unravel big pieces!

I love cats (in my parent's home, I lived with ten Persians), like to swim and put a lot of importance on my daily four walks. Three of those last about an hour each, and I meet friends that I can play with. But if I don't find anyone to roughhouse with, then I insist that my folks play with me and my tennis ball.

Besides that, I really like the home-cooked food that I get twice a day, even if the portions are always too small.

Would you like to see some pictures of my boxer family?

My mother, Amey von Deepenbrook, and my grandmother, Jana von Eulenblut.
My father was Dux vom Sandkrug. Unfortunately, he died on September 20, 1996.

My mother(l) and I both eight-months old. Do we really look so much alike, as everyone says?

So I look today - little turn grey - with my 12 years!

13 years and two great and exciting months I had been romping through my
and your life,a little more calm during last time.I found many frieds and lost
them again.I was the last one out of my generation.Thank you for taking
part in my life and having been amused about my jokes, once in a while
my people did not like them too much.
But I do think during last 16 months I gave my master a lot of support.
Now time has come to do my way across the long rainbow-bridge
back home to Rosi and all my friends.
Some time or other we will be together again.
