WHEN PIGS FLY!!!

The Roman Catholic Church has a long history of exaggeration. Total absurdity at times which we will see in the following quotes from the "Mother of Harlots" herself! These are her claims of miracles, judge for yourself if they sound Scriptural or if they glorify Jesus Christ.

Statue of Mary Extended Her Hand To Be Kissed!

"The nobleman went to the church, and on seeing the figure of Mary he felt himself, as it were, invited by her to cast himself at her feet and trust. He hastens to do so, kisses her feet, and Mary, from the statue, extended her hand for him to kiss." (Glories of Mary, 232.)

Revelation 22:8,9: "AND I JOHN SAW THESE THINGS, AND HEARD THEM. AND WHEN I HAD HEARD AND SEEN, I FELL DOWN TO WORSHIP BEFORE THE FEET OF THE ANGEL WHICH SHOWED ME THESE THINGS. THEN SAITH HE UNTO ME, SEE THOU DO IT NOT: FOR I AM A FELLOW SERVANT, AND OF THY BRETHREN THE PROPHETS, AND OF THEM WHICH KEEP THE SAYINGS OF THIS BOOK: WORSHIP GOD.

Crucifix Talked to "Brother Bernard", They Say Did Not Need To Read--Only Needed A Crucifix!

"The great servant of God, Brother Bernard of Corlien, a Capuchin, did not know how to read, and his fellow religious wished to teach him. He went to ask for advice from the crucifix, and Jesus answered him from the cross: "What necessity for books or reading! I am your book--a book you can always read the love I have borne for you." (Devotion of the Holy Rosary, 96.)

This seems odd considering the word of God tells us "STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH." 2 Timothy 2:15. Again, in Isaiah 34:16 the Lord commands us "SEEK YE OUT OF THE BOOK OF THE LORD, AND READ: NO ONE OF THESE SHALL FAIL, NONE SHALL WANT HER MATE: FOR MY MOUTH IT HATH COMMANDED, AND HIS SPIRIT IT HATH GATHERED THEM."

Crucifix Talked To "St. Thomas" They Assert

"On one occasion at Naples in 1273, after he had completed his treatise on the Eucharist, three of the brethrensaw him lifted in ecstasy, and they heard a voice proceeding from the crucifix on the altar, saying 'Thou hast written well of me Thomas; what reward wilt thou have?' Thomas replied,"None other than Thyself, Lord." Similar declarations are said to have been made at Orvieto and at Paris" Catholic Encyclopedia, XIV, 685.

Where do I begin? Should I start with the fact that the Roman Catholic Eucharist is blasphemous? Or possibly we should note the fact that he levitated? What of the Lord asking him what reward he wants? People....read your bibles!!! No wonder Rome doesn't want her children reading God's word on their own! She knows the word of God will tear down her very foundations, for they are rotted.

Feet Of Crucifix Moved

"St. Pius (V) was accustomed to kiss the feet of his crucifix on leaving or entering his room. One day the feet moved away from his lips. Sorrow filled his heart, and he made acts of contrition, fearing he must have committed some secret offense but still he could not kiss the feet. It was afterward found that they had been poisoned by an enemy." Butler's Lives of the Saints, one volume edition, 170.

Psalm 115:4-8 tells us plainly "THEIR IDOLS ARE SILVER AND GOLD, THE WORK OF MEN'S HANDS. THEY HAVE MOUTHS, BUT THEY SPEAK NOT: EYES HAVE THEY, BUT THEY SEE NOT: THEY HAVE EARS, BUT THEY HEAR NOT: NOSES HAVE THEY, BUT THEY SMELL NOT: THEY HAVE HANDS, BUT THEY HANDLE NOT: FEET HAVE THEY, BUT THEY WALK NOT: NEITHER SPEAK THEY THROUGH THEIR THROAT. THEY THAT MAKE THEM ARE LIKE UNTO THEM; SO IS EVERY ONE THAT TRUSTETH IN THEM."

A Bird Said "Ave Maria" and the Hawk Fell Dead!

"Father Bernadine de Bustis relates that a hawk darted upon a bird which had been taught to say Ave Maria (Hail Mary); the bird said Ave Maria, and the hawk fell dead. By this our Lord wishes to show us, that if an irrational bird was saved from destruction by invoking Mary, how much more surely will he be prevented from falling into the power of evil spirits, who is mindful to invoke Mary in his temptations." Glories of Mary, 96.

Oh really? Is that what the Lord wanted to show us? WHEN PIGS FLY! The word of God clearly states "THAT AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, OF THINGS IN HEAVEN, AND THINGS IN THE EARTH, AND THINGS UNDER THE EARTH;" Philippians 2:10. Again, in Acts 4:12 we see "NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER: FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED." There is no power in the name of Mary! It is the sweet name of Jesus that causes the demons to shake!

When should one consider Roman Catholicism a Christian religion? WHEN PIGS FLY!!!
