Proof of Will; Marcus H. Bolch, State of North Carolina, Caldwell County, A paper writing
purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Marcus H. Bolch, deceased, is exhibited before me, the undersigned Clear of Superior Court of said County by A. A. Bolch and J. L. Bolch, the executors, therein mentioned and the due execution thereof by the said Marcus H. Bolch is proved by the oath and examination of A. N. Lutz and G. D. Lutz, the subscribing witnesses thereto; who being duly sworn, both depose and say and each for himself deposeth and saith that he is a subscribing witness to the paper writing now shown him purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Marcus H. Bolch. The said Marcus H. Bolch in the presence of this deponent subscribe his name at the end of the paper writing, now shown as aforesaid, and which bears date of October 1898, and the deponent further saith that the said Marcus H. Bolch the testator aforesaid did at the time of subscribing his name as aforesaid, declare the said paper writing so subscribed by him and exhibited to be his last Will and Testament, and this deponent did therefore subscribe his name at the end of said Will as the said testator subscribed his name to the said last Will as aforesaid, and at the time of deponent's subscribing his name as an attesting witness thereto as aforesaid, the said Marcus H. Bolch was of sound mind and memory of full age to execute a will and was not under any restraint to the knowledge, information or belief of this deponent; and further these deponents say not. Witness: G. N. Clarke, A. N. Lutz, G. D. Lutz, severally sworn and subscribed the 27th day of June 1903 before me W. S. L. Cloyd, C. S. C.

I, Marcus H. Bolch of the County and State aforesaid being of sound mind and memory but
considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following; This is to say, First that my executors shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends and pay all funeral expenses together with my just debts howsoever and to whom-so-ever owing out of the monies that may first come into their hands as a part or parcel of my estate.
I give and devise to my beloved wife Margaret E. Bolch the sum of two dollars, $2.00, to be paid her by my executors, my will and desire is that my executors here-in-after named shall make sale of all my personal property of what nature or kind soever and where soever the same shall be at the time of my death shall be sold for cash and the monies arising from said sale with all other money that I may have at my death to be equally divided between my six sons, to wit A.A. Bolch, J. L. Bolch, H. S. Bolch, Marcus E. Bolch, L. S. Bolch, L. V. Bolch and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my two oldest sons, A. A. Bolch and J. L. Bolch my lawful executors to all intents and purposes to execute this my last Will and Testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring entirely void all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made in witness whereof I, the said Marcus H. Bolch do here unto set my hand and seal this 11th day of October 1898.
Signed and sealed and declared by the said Marcus H. Bolch to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence do subscribe our names as witness thereto; A. N. Lutz, G. D. Lutz.
