You first just stick out a feeler to see if all is well, and when you develop faith you grow taller.
As you grow taller you begin to develop apendages that reach out around you.
The taller you grow the more branches or leaves you grow. Your food now comes in through those leaves and you feel a bubble of joy appear.
The bubble swells with a feasting from the love of God and others and before you realize it, you feel like it can't stay contained anymore.
Once the binders break open, something wonderful bursts out from the bud of joy.
A flower - a beautiful flower that shines bright and beautiful for all to see.
As the flower ages it grows thicker and stronger in the stem.
When it's time is up,the best part is yet to come,
In its last breath of life it shoots forth hundreds of seeds that it grew by its faith to make hundreds flowers.

Faith starts small like a seed, and grows into a plant. Faith grows more as you reach out and trust your God to care for you. It is not long before the joy of salvation starts to make such a difference in your life that you are bursting to tell the world. When you bloom in Christian love you start to be the creature that God tells us to be.
When your time comes to die, the faith that you had to do God's work turns into seeds that can spread God's Word worldwide.

This faith can get you through anything that you have to face... HE promised.

You can use this as an example: Put a seed of your choice into a cup and let the cup be the person, and the seed be the Gospel or Jesus Christ. The Son (sun) is important for the growth to start. As the seed grows, show how much faith it has in the one who planted it to sprout and start a plant. As is gets bigger, point out that it loves being took care of and has no fear of growing. When it flowers, that is the joy, when it stays and the stem thickens, it is learning how to get through life. When the flower dies, save it and show how many seeds it made when it had faith to grow. Plant another........pass the rest to friends. Spread the Gospel.
