Welcome!

You have arrived at one of the many rooms in Grampa and Gramma's House in Cyberspace. This is a safe house on the Internet and this is the Family Room.

Many years ago, Gramma and Grampa where host parents for Pearson College of the Pacific. It was normal to see a bunch of kids from all over the world sitting on the floor talking about everything from the plight of the Palestinians to the terrible happenings in South Africa. Sometimes the discussion got pretty loud. Sometimes someone's feelings got hurt. Sometimes there were angry words. But we always came back together because we loved one another and we were determined to learn more about each other for the sake of peace.

Years have passed and appartheid has been abolished but the Palistinian problem has gotten worse.

Gramma and Grampa have decided to open their "House" once again to the people of the world to come and learn about one another. With love and mutual respect we will find a way through the bad times.

Let's begin. First there is a story from Muataz, one of our "sons", from Pearson College, originally from Palistine. He and his wife are as close as any son and daughter could be to us and we love them dearly.

We are Christians and our hearts belong to Jesus Christ who is a Jew. My heart breaks when I think of God crying over His children in Jerusalem and the Holy Land. He can not stop the killing, only the people, with their decision to love, can stop the killing.

The most loving thing we can all do for one another is listen to one another. This site is a forum for ALL. Won't you join us please.

"The news is almost too horrible to comprehend. The planned slaughter of non-military civilians (redundant, granted) is downright Satanic. Whoever approves of and/or condones such an action (on whatever side) is committing a sin of the most blasphemous order. There can be no hiding behind the shield of religion; both Judaic and Moslem faiths teach restraint and responsibility for individual actions. There is no religion (besides Satanism, or worship of disorder) which advocates the killing of innocents. The Israelis, as loathsome as their policies may me, go to extreme lengths to target guilty individuals, and to minimize the deaths of innocents. The Palestinian militants, on the other hand, go to exteme lengths to make no such distinction. They intentionally target innocents as a matter of course. Seems very cut and dry. kmac"-
