This is a memorial to my mother who passed away on Friday, May 29th, 1998. She will be greatly missed by all of us. She was an inspiration and a great friend who could be counted on in times of need or to lend an ear. She on Saturday, May 23, 1998, slipped and fell, breaking her hip and leg. No one had any idea that this would be fatal and lead to her death. After being in the hospital for almost a week and undergoing many tests, she died in the operating room from fatty tissues of her bone marrow, leaking into her blood stream which disrupted the breathing process and stopped her heart. Although gone from this earthly plain, we look forward to seeing her again, one day when we all meet in Heaven. Mother was a Christian and of Baptist faith.
