I'm a 40 year old - honest, you can check my license - classroom teacher who loves doing what I do and living the way I live. I've been working with children for over half my life and can hardly imagine doing anything else for a living. Patty and I had been trying to have our own children for years, and when we learned that wasn't possible we were overjoyed to adopt our children Cassidy and Colby (please check out their pages).

My favorite activity is spending time with my wife and enthusiastic children. I am a pet enthusiast (see our pet page) and love spending time doing just about anything outside. My summer is spent playing softball and baseball, my winter snowshoeing and skiing. Hiking, biking, kayaking and working around our house are other activities I enjoy.

When I have to be inside I like to hack around on the computer, read action novels and Sports Illustrated or settle down in front of a good movie.
