Zeek is a white shepherd/mix We adopted him from a human society in Maine when he was about 4 months old in 1992. While he has a nasty habit of trying to chew on moving car fenders he is wonderful around our children - and that counts for a LOT!

Stoli was born in April of 2002 making him about 2 1/2 years old when we adopted him in October of 2004. Golden Retrievers are gentle and kind by nature and Stoli lives up to that reputation. It took Cassidy a little bit to warm up to his "puppiness", but she now handles him like a pro.

Tessa was born in 1997. She's a bit of a recluse and very shy around the kids (one can hardly blame her). When she knows she has an adult all to herself she can be a very loving animal.

Ruby is nearly the complete opposite of Tessa. She was born in September 2003, coming to us in December of 2004 as mommy's Christmas present. She's always around and loves to be petted. Colby is learning to be more gentle which we're sure Ruby appreciates.

Sammy was of the kindest animals you could ever know. We adopted him at the same time as Zeek and they became fast friends. Sammy lost a year long battle with cancer during the summer of 2001.

We adopted Milo from a friend in 1992. She loved to cuddle as long as she could leave when she liked. Her greatest attribute was how patient she was with the kid. She contracted feline lukemia during the summer of 2004. We decided to put her to sleep that fall. She now lies peacefully in a pine grove behind our home.
