Apologetics (from greek apologia - apology = defense), is the science which defends with reasoning, the Christian faith. Many times our faith is attacked, either by someone who doesn't understand well God or Christianity, or by doubts (temptations) which come directly from the enemy. In any case, we should have the answers handy for us and others, because christianity is not a blind faith. It can be reasoned.

The site above is non-catholic (protestant). I still recommend it in urgent cases
where one stumbles upon an atheist or moslem attacking the apparent
"bible contradictions". If you're catholic, you should read first the Catechism
to check that it is the Church who gave us the Bible, so we should ask the
Church and check if the catholic interpretation has contradictions, because
searching for bible contradictions with someone's own literal interpretation, is an
absurd.
