CMF (Christian Marriage & Family Ministry) grew out of a deep passion within us to share with others the true meaning of Christ first in our lives. The impact of this knowledge in our lives became the most powerful lesson we could have ever known. It has taken us many years of struggling to realize how important God is to have a peaceful, joyful life! Without Christ, the life you lead is like a circle that does not connect. You can go so far around that cirlce before things just don't quite fit. With Christ, the missing piece is there, that circle closes and never ends!
Our mission with this website and this ministry is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help others to realize God's central role in marriage, family and life! We are self-supporting ministry wholely funded by God through our family. This is just one small way we feel we can give back to God for all the blessings that He has given to us.
By the Grace of God this ministry has grown over the past three years and we are forever grateful to Him who inspires us and keeps us going! Our vision for the future will be to hopefully expand the ministry to provide home bible study classes for married and premarried couples, and mentoring programs in the community. These goals will only be by His leading and in His time. This "internet" ministry has been a wonderful learning experience. It has been such an honor and a blessing to be in contact with so many of you all over the world.
In addition, we have also been blessed by Rev. Joseph Miller with his guidance, prayers and wisdom. Over these past years we would have been lost in many ways without his direction and support. Rev. Miller is a retired minister who spends his time now devoted to outreach ministries, tinkering around the woodshop, and fishing. He will forever be a role model of Christian character and life!
We recently added a new segment of this internet ministry - a series of "Bible Studies" to help others understand and apply into life the principles of the Bible. These are the core foundation studies of learning how to put Christ First. We hope these will be a blessings to you!
Just who are we?? Well, we are just an average everday couple! We are learning each and every day to walk closer and closer with our Lord, through the good and the "not so good" times!!! We believe that marriage is a wonderful blessing from God. A beautiful gift, it is God's institution, not man's! Therefore, we make a conscious effort everyday to devote our marriage and family life around God and His Word. God has truly blessed us with a marriage that is filled with love, comfort, peace and friendship above anything we could have ever imagined.
If you think we are "just lucky", you are very wrong! Our roads to togetherness had been filled with trials, loneliness, failed relationships and years spent working on ourselves inside, so we may become people who could appreciate a "good and Godly relationship", and further to have the ability to maintain a "good and Godly" relationship. Finding God in our own ways was a critical part in growing up and growing inside. We are not talking about just knowing about God but learning to live for God. Surely, our individual experiences played an important part in becoming the people we are now, however, it is only by the Grace of God that we know such peace in our lives and marriage today. The most important message we would like to convey to you today is to Keep GOD FIRST in your life! He promises you and I then....Everything else will then be added to you! (Matthew 6:33)
