My Dad, My dad so many memories. Growing up the things he did for us. Never lazy always worked around the house. And keeping it like a museum for my mother. Worked for Lockheed for 39 years and I am proud to say I stepped into his shoes. I have worked in the model shop now going on 21 years doing the same thing he did with love. I had a small opportunity to work side by side with him in the shop and that was the best time I had till lately. He loved Airplanes. Any airplane, He was a pilot and flew my mom around when they where dating. There would be one flying by and I remember this as a kid he would call it out by the noise it made before he looked at it. He made Pam and my self a small airplane we had in the yard . It was close to a full scale plane wheels on it two place cockpit and a prop he carved out of wood. We where on the top of the world the only kids on the block or anywhere with a plane in the yard. He love to make RC planes and he has many hanging in his garage. And many in the ground. We went flying together a couple of times and he crashed it. It was so far away it was just a dot and then it went down. We drove the truck over and picked up what was left. We would go to the model field once a week after we cleaned first. And he would let me steer the VW down the road I looked forward to that so much. As the years went buy his eyes where not that good so he did not fly to much , till he got the eye surgery done and then had 20/20 vision but his health was not to good. Shortly after that. Him and his wife moved from Sun Valley to Las Vegas Nevada and that was my mom’s place. Dad loved to go the shows in Vegas. They had a home in a golf resort with a private guard gate Los Prados and it was like a show home. Everything had its place and was a beautiful home . After His wife died Enid my mother he lived for a while by him self. And did good for a while with his cat Nitro He got sick with pneumonia and bronchitis and he went in the hospital in Las Vegas. He would no go home by him self they would not release him to be by himself. We told Dad we would take care of him and that we did. Robin was like an angle and was there to take him all around to doctor appointments and the store. He loved to walk around using his walker and when that got to hard he used the power carts. Watch out if you where in his way. Robin was home with an injury to her shoulder. In a way I think that was an act of god to have her there for dad. We made him as comfortable as we could even when he was in the hospital. I celebrated my birthday there in his room and we had thanksgiving dinner there in the hospital all of us. I celebrated Hanukkah together we said the prayer and had a small cry. About a week ago. It was a little early, maybe I knew or there was a felling. Any case I thought he would like to be able to watch movies while on dialyses. So we got him a portable DVD player he liked it. But the time we spent together was the best. I am so lucky to have had this opportunity to really know my dad like I never knew him before. We went out to dinner, went to even two concerts or just to the airport to watch planes go by. Every Sunday he was home I would call him at noon he was there with Mom and by the phone we where there tighter at that point. Well Dad your back with your wife once again. And with everyone you love. I am going to miss all the things we did together. You where such a tough man , Anything that they say you needed you had done. I only wish I could be half the man you where. I got the call and was there in a flash. I held his hand and told him it was ok and to say hello to mom for me and to visit me anytime at the house. I said I love you dad and so did Robin and he said he loved us to and squeezed my hand tight and then he was gone. Dad I will never forget you as long as I live. Your in my heart with every breath I take. You will be missed and a candle will burn 24/7 so no body will ever forget. Love you Dad till we see each other again. Love Mark
