Our story

Once, mum lived in a cottage with a big garden, full of animals (dogs, cats, gosling, quails, goat...). Then she had to move to a flat, without garden. But she definitely needed a dog, a small one who could fit in the flat. So she took her canine encyclopedia, and searched for many small breeds and, obviously, also "chihuahua". On the next page... there was a delightful chinese crested, hairless, stacking (Pekevista kennel, picture on the left).
He was so beautiful that mum soon felt in love: she searched everywhere since she found the only CC breeding in Italy, "Allevamento dei Sette Laghi", owned by Attilio Carlesso, in Varese.

First she took Candy, "Hot Honey Moon", but she died in a car accident when she was 2 years old. Then mum took Penny, "Hemisphere Dei Sette Laghi", who was a singleton girl, 3 1/2 months old.

In Italy, where we live, there are few CC dogs, so we found many friends around the world on the Internet!

The first time that Penny attended the Virtual Dog Show she met Digby and Milo, her dearest friends. Milo told her how to subscribe the Chinese Crested Mailing List and there she found many crested people, it's like a big family! There also was the little Cookie, looking for a pet home, Penny thought that she was a lovely friend. Thanks to Judi, Cathy and Dawn, Cookie could come here, and now we are two happy sisters!

Sometimes we go for a holiday to Biancospino's School which is a wonderful place for us! There, we met a lot of friends.

We also have many friends in our local shelter, cared by some volunteers who belongs to ACIF and Dog's Defence National League.
