      "Hugh Mosher, his son {of Stephen}, came to Rhode Island with Lydia Maxon, his wife in the 16th century, Also Daniel and family, and John a bachelor, sons of the above Stephen." The origianl printing of the above notes Ezekiel as the father, but had been crossed out and Stephen added.



  1. William2 Mosher (MOSHER1) was born in Of Manchester, England. William Mosier, of Manchester, living there in 1614, and than called "a silk-weaver". Buried at Manchester Collegiate Church 7 OCT 1620. His will dated 29 Sept 1620, Proved at Chester 21 Jun 1721. had the lease of a house in New Fish St., London, called the Globe. Partners in businees with Brothers, John, Thomas & Stephen in 1620, and probably living in London at that time.

    Per G MOS 1405, pg 2 P80 from NEHGS: Died 1713, beleive this is in error, it was his son Hugh MOSIER2 that died in 1713.
    Per: G MOS 1405, pg 2 P80 from NEHGS also lists as his daughter, Rebbecca, I beleive this is not his Daugher, but his Daughter In Law, wife of his son Hugh
