I live in Hulbert until I was 15. I remember that the one store before the IGA was a store owned by the Spear's family. and the mill set next door. my father was a cook at the Western Hill Lodge. I went to the Lost City school. my grandparent and aunt and uncle and my father are laied to rest in the IOFcemtery. we lived in several houses in Hulbert because my grandfather liked to move every year. My uncle Archie Fanning was the pastor of the Free Holdness Church on the old 51 Highway just past the Curve h pastor that church until is death in 1972.
