Hmm! So what DO you really want to know? This is just a compilation
about who I am and what I'm interested in. If you wanna read my life story
(but seriously...) then read my testimony!
Anyhows, since you're here, some quick facts for you to stare at.....
Me, me, me!
Real Name: Lyn <== thanks Ma and Pa!
Where I'm from: Singapore
What I'm currently doing: 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering
Undergraduate
Where I am doing my studies: University of Western Australia. Kewl.
How I am finding my studies: Most laborious and trying! Interesting,
no doubt.
What I do in spare time: Snooze... or Chomp... well, you know. The
lazy stuff.
My hopes, dreams and plans: Get Ma VERY computer literate!
More ambitious dreams: Find out and explain the dynamics of a golf
ball to Pa.
Food For Thought
Ramblings-on of a lost brain cell:
Suction hooks work by a vacuum method, and sticky tapes work on adhesives.
But suction hooks rarely take on more than a hanging mop and sticky tapes
are... sticky. They stick to your everything... whilst suction hooks tend
to be picky what kind of surfaces they rather stick by... the smooth ones.
And THEN came wondrous Blu-tack.Which can't stick more than a couple of
grams to a vertical surface. Is it possible to have a material which is
a cross between the two, to stick on almost everything but no leave marks?
Or is there one already...
Since a tripod is the most stable simple structure, golf cart manufacturers
should manufacture a golf cart with three wheels only.
When are botanists going to grow a tree with a blue trunk and pink leaves?
Is there a safe way of controlling how trees's roots grow so we really
can have rooftop gardens, trees and all?
Is there some way of preventing photographs from sticking to the plastic
cover of the slip-in sleeves? By some strange phenomenon of West Oz heat
(it's now 40-ish deg C) the plastic and the photo chemicals just have a
sizzling time fusing together and thus get terribly fussy to remove.
