There are several references in the
Bible which refer to angels.
Angels were used as God's messengers,
they would always bring good news to God's people.
God also used His angels for our protection
.
"God will give orders to His angels
about you, and they will lift you up with Their hands"
Matthew 4:6
Angels
~ The Real Story
There has been
a lot of talk about angels lately. Some accurate, some fanciful! The facts
are what I would like to focus on. They are the truth. Stranger, more mysterious,
more wonderful and more awesome than any fiction or fantasy!
The first record outside of the bible,
of an encounter with angels was written 10,000 years ago. There are images
of winged beings that have been discovered in just about every part of
the world in all sorts of archeological digs. Stories of angelic interventions
have circulated by word of mouth for centuries upon centuries. But just
who are these creatures that have captured our hearts and imaginations?
Who Are They?
There are over 700 scriptural references
to angels in the bible. According to the word of God, angels have been
around from the beginning of time. They were created to do God's bidding,
to worship and obey Him unquestionably. In the beginning all the angels
were together. Then satan, who was God's most trusted, smartest and beautiful
angel, decided he didn't like things the way they were. He thought that
he deserved the adoration and obedience that God was getting. He convinced
many other angels that he should rule instead of God and led them in rebellion.
They were beaten and cast out of heaven by God's warrior angels. They now
dwell here on earth. Wreaking havoc, pain and death to the body as well
as the soul. And are doomed along with the unsaved and disbelievers to
an eternity in hell!
There is an hierarchy of angels. Some
fly around the throne of God constantly praising His name. Some just minister
to Him. Others minister to those who have left this earth and dwell with
the Lord in heaven. There are also angels who specifically do God's will
here on earth, whether in peace or battle in the spiritual realm. There
are those angels who stand beside us here on earth, protecting us and moving
between here and heaven with our prayers. But wherever they are, in heaven
or on earth, they only do and desire one thing, that
is to obey God's will!
Don't Be Fooled
Many people make the mistake of glorifying
angels and not God for the miracles that accompany their earthly visitations.
Jesus is our Healer, Savior and our Heavenly Father's general here on earth.
The angels are God's messengers! Angels do
what they are told to do!
Angels and their
role in our lives
Because of the time we live in (I believe
it is the "last days" spoken of in The Book of Revelations in the word
of God), people have become "thrill seekers". Looking for "something",
but not quite sure what it is. We have grabbed onto the angel craze with
both hands. They are mysterious, mystical, and marvelous beings who step
in and do "super-human" feats that mystify our minds and reach deep down
inside to touch our hearts.
What they show us however is evidence,
albeit somewhat intangible of a wonderful and loving God who just might
be in control (contrary to what most think) of the situation here on earth!
God's Plan of Salvation
What people fail to understand is that
angels only know of God's plan of salvation. They really can not participate.
I think we fascinate them . We as human
beings and God's children have a choice. We are part of the "Plan
of Salvation" that Jesus fulfilled! We can choose whether to accept
Jesus as our Lord and Savior or reject Him and go to hell with satan and
his "friends"!
A Word to the Wise!
I must inject a warning at this point!
Angels are not to be worshipped!
put on a pedestal, or endowed with powers,
other than what God has given them! They only do God's bidding.
Willingly. Never questioning , only obeying. It is hurtful to the Lord
when you praise angels for what they have done, without giving credit to
the One Who created and sent them to do these wonderful miracles.
Summing it up
All in all, I thank my Heavenly Father and
my Lord Jesus for loving us so much that They created special beings to
watch over and care for us here on earth! There is a scripture that kind
of sums up the whole angel question: Psalm 91: 11-12 says "He
shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In
their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone!"

Have you ever wondered what an Angel
was?
If you've got the time, I'll tell you
so,
That Angels are the way to go.
In times of happiness, trouble or sorrow,
They'll be here today as well as tomorrow
Don't ever lose that faith that you
have so deep inside,
Because you'll ALWAYS have Angels on
your side.
You can do anything you desire when
your heart is right
Just remember always to keep Angels
in sight
God sent us these Angels to see us through
He sent some for me and He sent some
for you.
If you believe with all your heart,
you might be surprised
What His Angels can do when they come
into our lives.
We faithfully send them alone with those
we love
And we know they'll be protected by
Our God above
And now I have just one question for
you...
Are you even aware of what these Heavenly
Beings can do?
My faith is now stronger with those
words that I bring
"We've got Angels on our side, We can
do Anything!"
The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
"clap your hands for joy, all peoples!"
Psalm 47:1
"the trees in the woods will shout for
joy when the Lord come to rule the earth"
Psalm 96:12
Jesus said" Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give to you, Don't get all worried"
John 14:27
Ask, and you will receive; seek, and
you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone
who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door to
Jesus heart will be opened to whoever who calls to Him.

Gods love is eternal. Let Him surround
you with His love today.
All you need to do to become a christian
is
1. Confess/ say sorry for your sins.
2 Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ
died on the cross for all sinners. For you.
3. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come
and be your saviour now.
4. Tell a christian friend that you
want to become a christian. Or go to a church..
