About the Designer
John Fleming grew up in the western Canadian city of Edmonton.
During his mis-spent youth, he earned two degrees from the University of Alberta--neither of which have anything to do with camelids.
In 1995, an event occured that radically altered John's life. Late one night, on a lonely stretch of highway, he was involved in a head-on collision with a suicidal moose. The moose destroyed a perfectly good Toyota.
While recovering from his injuries, John spent much time on the farm developing a love and appreciation for llamas.
Today, he lives in Edmonton with his four-legged room mate, Neko, who is happiest right after he changes her litter box.
When he is not developing Camelid Country, he is hard at work as a technical communications contractor, developing software documentation and writing procedures manuals.
