Boy Scout Troop 30 is located in Clear Lake, IA. Troop 30 was founded in 1935.Our meetings are held weekly every Monday, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the United Methodist Church. The troop usually has anywhere form 1 to 3 activities per month, and was awarded with a quality unit last year. Our troop consists of 4 patrols with about 31 active members of all different ages and several dedicated adult leaders. Our troop is very active in camping, hiking, community service and advancement. This page is established to help communicate events and news to the scouts, their parents and anyone else interested in our Boy Scout Troop and its activities. |

Organization
Troop 30 is a participating member of the Lakeland District of the Winnebago Council , Boy Scouts of America. The Troop's organization
consists of the Chartered Organization, the Troop Committee, the Troop, and the Troop's Parents.
The Chartered Organization for Troop 30 is the United Methodist Men's group associated with the United Methodist Church of Clear Lake, IA. The Chartered Organization shares our objectives for the boys and
ensures that there is adequate, trained leadership. A Chartered
Organization Representative acts as liaison between the Church and the Troop. The United Methodist Men has been the Chartered Organization from the conception of Troop 30 in 1935.
