    Give each child a 9" square of construction paper       
  that has been divided into nine squares.                  
    Let the children glue 3" squares of fabric,             
  wallpaper, or colored wrapping paper in the squares on    
  thier papers.                                             
    Encourage them to glue thier squares in patterns.       
    Tape the children's papers together to form a group     
  quilt.                                                    
    Then display the quilt in the wall or a bulletin        
  board.
