PASSES       AWAY
AT PARK RAPIDS

Remains of  Mrs. Thuri  Olson
Kjonaas,    Former     Resident
of     This     County,     Arrived
Here  Last Evening  for Burial.

On Tuesday May 3rd,  Mrs. Thuri
Olson Kjonaas passed away at the
home  of  her   daughter   at   Park
Rapids,  Minn.   She was for many
years a resident of Freeborn Coun-
ty,  having  lived  in  Bancroft  from
1863  until  a  few  years ago.  She
left  here  following the death of her
husband, Hans Olson Kjonaas. For
some  time Mrs. Kjonaas has been
suffering  from   a   cancer   of   the
stomach.  At  the time of her death
she  was  eighty  four   years of age.
  She    leaves   to   survive   her   4
children:  Henry,  Ole,  Isabel   and
Anne.
  The  remains  arrived  here   from
Park  Rapids  last  evening and the
funeral  is to take  place  tomorrow
afternoon  at  3:30  at  Our Saviors
Lutheran  church,  Rev.  C. J. Qual
will  officiate.  Interment   is  to   be
made at Graceland cemetery.
