John 10:10
"The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

B. Man's Problem

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

C. God's Remedy

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

D. Man's Response

Revelation 3:20
`Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.
