Why Do I Read the New American Standard Bible?
Well when I gave my life to Christ I had to decide on what bible I was going to study. I had both my mother's and my father's bibles and they read New American Standard. So I decided that I'd read it too. Well I have learned a lot more about bibles since I decided why I'd read which one but my decision still stands. The NASB is a very easy to read translation and it is one of the closer ones to the actual Greek and Hebrew. It was translated by the Lockman Foundation and was last updated in 1996.

- These publications shall be true to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.
- They shall be grammatically correct.
- They shall be understandable to the masses.
- They shall give the Lord Jesus Christ His proper place, the place which the Word gives Him; therefore, no work will ever be personalized.
I still reference other versions at times to get other angles on difficult verses.
