The Promise

You are my forever friend,

this I promise you.

I will not wait til tomorrow to tell you

that I truly do love you.

Waiting for another time

would simply be a waste!

I want to tell you now

tell you as I feel it best to say.

I am not gonna wait to see my dreams come true

to let you know how special you are to me.

The promise I give to you today shall last forever.

The promise of a friendship that shall never end,

full of laughter just to see that twinkle in your eye.

To see the smile you so often give

just knowing you have a friend in me is priceless.

Though at times it shall fade

REMEMBER my promise
