Not only does Powers Chapel have talented actors, but there are also terrific artists in attendance.  If it was not for these individuals, our scenery would not have turned out as beautifully.  Several of our actors even displayed their artistic talents.

The stage and props turned out to be one of the most difficult tasks.  Designed by Terry Stewart, the stage is divided into three equal parts: Bethlehem, the stable, and King Herod's palace.  Each division required a lot of paint and even more detail.

On countless evenings,  the construction/paint crews would meet in the church basement and work on the stage pieces for hours.  Many steps were involved to complete each piece.

Below are pictures of the set while under construction and after. We would like to thank all who assisted in the construction process!

The marketplace is located in the lobby of the church.  Citizens will greet you to their small town, while merchants attempt to convince you to purchase one of their products.  But, watch out for the Roman soldiers; they can't stand when people congregate in the middle of the streets.
