Living here in Northeast Pennsylania is a joy. The rich green of the hills are stimulating and the air is clear and clean; if you come in from a metropolitan area you will notice the difference in your breathing in less than an hour. You'll miss it when you leave. Who could resist a stroll along the banks of the Delaware at Lackawaxen?

Wood shed and Hemlock Tree in our back yard

Among the rich blessings of our area are the the Black Bears! We could hardly believe that we would live among them, and hopefully see them once in a while. They are majestic, beautiful, charming, and most of all, hungry! Bye, Bye, Mr. Bear!

Frequent guests to our yard are the White Tail Deer - we "share" the garden.
