Born December 28, 1871, at Lewis Center, Delaware County, Ohio. He attended grade and high school in Galena and was graduated from Ohio Northern University in Ada, 1893. He remained there to teach and to study law. He was admitted to the bar in 1906. He married Allie Dustin on July 19, 1894. He was elected Representative from Hardin County and served 1899-1901. Elected to the United States Congress he served 1910-1912. He served one term as the Governor of Ohio, 1915-1917, then was elected United States Senator in 1920 and served six years. He made the speech in the Republican Convention in 1920 nominating Warren G Harding for President. He was reelected to the Senate in 1926 and served two years. He entered the Republican Primary election as Presidential candidate in 1928 but was stricken in his home town and died on March 30, 1928. He was buried at Delaware, Ohio. Senator Willis' Widow is Dead

Mrs Allie Dustin Willis, 82, of Delaware, widow of former US Senator Frank B Willis, died Saturday in Mt Carmel Hospital, after suffering a broken hip in a fall Tuesday at her home. Sen. Willis died in 1928.

A resident of Delaware for 25 years, she was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church, the Fortnightly Club, the Advance Club, The Irving Club and was on the Board of Trustees of Ohio Northern University, Ada.

She is survived by her daughter, Miss Helen Willis of the residence, and a brother Fred Dustin of Galena.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, Asbury Church with the pastor, Dr T L Cromwell. Dr Bringle McIntosh, president of Ohio Northern, officiating. Friends may call at the Doty funeral home, Delaware, until noon Wednesday at the church.

She will be buried in Oak Grove Cemetery.
