1 -pound box baking soda
   1 cup cornstarch
   1 1/4 cup water.
Place all ingredients in a pot. stir over low flame or medium temperature.constantly stirring until mass looks like mashed potatoes. remove from heat. and place on a dusted plate or work surface, knead mixture until smooth and  cool. wrap in plastic or in air tight container.
To use dust surface lightly with a bit of soda or cornstarch.
and roll out as you like. use cookie cutters to make ornaments. Use candy sprinkles and clear high gloss spray varnish to keep ornaments pretty!

To make the doll. Cut 2 doll bodies and 2 sets of arms and legs. Stitch the body leaving 2 inches from shoulder down sides and the very bottom open . Stitch the arms around leaving the short straiught sides open, and the legs stitch all around leaving the short straight top open. Clip all curves. Turn peieces right side out andstuff arms and legs only. Insert short straight ends into body fold under raw edge and stitch arms in place. Stuff body. Fold under the edges and insert the legs into place. Top stitch legs in place.  Draw face or iron on a face or rub on a face.
Spray diluted brown acrylic paint in mist bottle. Tie strings or strips of ragged  dirt colored fabric around wrists, knees and head.
To make scarecrow.. stitch overalls and shirt from old clothes. Asss raffia straw or straw colored yarn to head.
1 yard muslin
1/2 yard old jeans for pants weight fabric
1/2 yard shirt weight or
fabric pens; yarn  or raffiafor hair.; infant socks; infant shoes size .Soft touch polyfil    
Enlarge doll 200 percent.

T o make kimono pin you will need
14 1 1/16th size pins
a 1 3/4 pin
light bllackroccailles  beads
red roccailles beads

working from top to bottom each column is a single pin.
string on pins and close clasp. Place on larger pin.
1/3 c  Margarine
1/3 c  Light corn syrup
1/4 ts Salt
  1 ts Vanilla or other flavor
  1 lb Powdered Sugar
2 drops of food coloring optional
In a bowl mix the margarine, syrup, salt and flavorings.
Mix well. Add sugar a little at a time until smooth.Add by drop coloring of desired.place in plastic bag and refrigerate.
form  logs and flatten a little bit in the center.
with a skewer or tooth pick make little holes in the bones to allow for stringing together and on a thread.. Allow to dry overnight or on drying rack.

Measure a piece of elastic thread 1 inch longer than wrist.
Tie a knot in one end, thread beads on.leave 1 inch or more at the end of the thread. Now take both thread ends and tie two knots. slip candy bracelet on your wrist.

For necklace use two strands very long heavy duty thread and follow bracelet directions.Make sure the necklace is long enough to slid over your head.

To make mummy. Sew up arms and legs all around leaving only the top open for stuffing. Sew two body pieces together so they are long. Leave top and botom open. Insert legs into one end and stitch in place so legs flop.
Sew head as a single tube. mage two gathering stitches. One at the top and one at the bottom. Stuff head then pull gathering stitch tight,. Hand sew to body.
Stitch arms into the side seams of the body with ladder stitch. Tie excess strips of muslin and draw mummy lines with fine fabric pen. sew or draw two small eyes.. hide in candy bowl.

orange, white  black and  1 green seed beads , safety pins.
Follow pattern.
Edible blood
clear kayro
concentrated red food color and some red Koolaid.
In a small container mix red food coloring with clear kayro.
To intensify and give appearance of
" clots" mix black cherry koolaid with very little water to make a paste. add by drop fulls to red kayro. Spoon onto plate of white brain candy, or severed finger candy.
