Hotel Information

Below is a general map of the area and where everything is in relation to each other. As you can see, activities during our wedding weekend are all located within the triangle, and it only takes about 1/2 hour to drive from point to point.

There are several options for lodging. You can choose to stay near the reception, making the drive back to your room a little easier or taking advantage of the shuttle bus we've arranged to enable our guests to freely enjoy themselves at the affair. You can choose to stay near the church or my parents' homes or someplace centrally-located to all weekend events. Or you can stay at the most economical hotel without the worry of a long travel (30-40 minutes, tops!).

(NOTE: Attendants, please consult your dedicated Schedule of Events page for information concerning Friday night sleeping arrangements, Friday/Saturday transportation arrangements, and other logistics that have been coordinated for you. Do not make hotel reservations without reading this page first!)
On the map below, the locations of hosted events are denoted as green stars. All connecting lines denote major highways, which also outline the triangle. The red and yellow markers indicate hotels in which rooms are blocked. Blue markers are for other hotels that are convenient to highways and places you'll need to be during the course of the weekend. Obviously, you are free to stay anyplace you'd like--even at hotels that aren't listed here--I just wanted to give everyone some options, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area. Feel free to leverage your student, senior, and frequent traveler discounts!

We have reserved a block of rooms at two hotels near to the Florentine Gardens, our reception site: the Woodcliff Lake Hilton and the Park Ridge Marriott. They aren't exactly super-economical for the average person since the whole surrounding area caters to a lot of upper-class residents and business people. We're 15 miles outside of New York, what can I say? But they do offer some nice amenities such as pools, restaurants, and saunas, and we were able to negotiate a rate that is very reduced from their standard, published rates. Plus, the shuttle bus option is always an added bonus if you think you're going to party-on-down at the reception.

This hotel is right off the highway and is in a good location to access all major routes to get to all green star locations (see my map above). It's the one just north of the Garden State Parkway. Close to Rutherford.

4. Ramada Inn - Clifton
265 Route 3 East, Clifton, NJ 07014

This hotel is very close to Rutherford, literally right across the Passaic River. You'd be close to my mother's house and close to the church. The hotel is right off the highway, so it's easily accessible.

680 Route 3 West, Clifton, NJ

Not the best hotel, but it's usually very economical. I believe there is an IHOP next to it, and it's right off the highway for easy accessibility. Close to Rutherford.

6. Marriott - Saddle Brook

I would consider this hotel to be the most centrally-located to all green star locations (see my map above).

850 Route 120 South, E. Rutherford, NJ

Very close to the church and my mom's house. Usually hard to get a room or leverage discounts because this hotel is so close to the Meadowlands. I figure I'd list it anyway...you might luck out.

8. Quality Inn - Meadowlands
10 Polito Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071

Noon check-out time. Outdoor pool. Next town over from Rutherford. Right down the street from the famous Medieval Times (Cable Guy) where I used to work (no wench jokes, please!). Right at the mouth of Route 17. Head up the hill for a beautiful view of the New York skyline.

9. Crown Plaza - Hasbrouck Heights
650 Terrace Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ

Might also be considered a Hilton now. They keep changing hands. Beautiful views of the NY skyline in this high-rise hotel. Right off of Rte. 80 and Route 17.

Price: Negotiable. Though they advertise less than $76/night.

Very close to my dad's house. This is the hotel I'm recommending for groomsmen not staying at my father's house on Friday night. Not the nicest hotel, but it's cheap and close to his house.
