FIRST TRIP MUST SEES

  • The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. *Be sure to see the shows at the Bacchus Fountain and at Atlantis in the new section.

  • The Fremont Street Experience at Night! The light shows are after dark on the hour usually. There is usually two different shows so stay two hours.

  • The Parade at the Rio. It is in the new part and it takes place overhead! The Buffet at the Rio is worth trying. Hint: The Rio Shuttle picks up on the Strip between the Aladdin and the Harley Davidson Restaurant. ( I prefer to take the Barbary Coast/Gold Coast Shuttle to the Gold Coast and cross the parking lots and road to the Rio because I usually stay at Flamingos and it is the closest)

  • If you Are a Old Car Buff, don't miss the Auto Collection at Imperial Palace. They are usually handing out free tickets on the Strip. (Walk thru the little casino into the Main part of the Casino and walk halfway back and ask for the way to the Collection as it is up in the parking garage area) Try a Hot Dog at the front of Imperial Palace karla's says they are the best.

  • Walk through Bally's and down the excalators to the store and pool area. Follow the signs to the monorail. The ride takes you to the MGM. It is a fast and foot saving way to the South Strip casinos and other attractions. It will give a nice view of the progress on the Paris Casino being build South of Bally's.

  • The Pirate Show at Treasure Island begins at 4:00 daily (weather permitting) and is every 90 minutes after that. The Volcano at Mirage is about every fifteen minutes after dark.very impressive.

  • New York New York duplicates the Big Apple’s skyline with 12 Manhattan-style skyscrapers and a replica Statue of Liberty.

  • The Excalibur, built in the style of a (rather unconvincing) medieval castle with drawbridge and moat, recreates the myth of King Arthur.

  • The Luxor is designed as a full-scale pyramid watched over by a sphinx. Inside there is a full-size replica of the tomb of Tutankhamen.

  • The Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino offers the interactive Star Trek: The Experience with virtual reality stations, a theme bar and Star Trek memorabilia.

  • MUSEUMS: The Las Vegas Natural History Museum has examples of present and pre-historic wildlife. The marine exhibition includes live sharks

  • The Liberace Museum was founded in 1975 by the bejewelled one himself. It features an array of the late performer’s memorabilia and possessions including pianos, stage costumes, jewellery and limousines.

  • As for shopping, Las Vegas offers everything from bargain to boutique, mall to megaresort. Some recent arrivals include the Fashion Outlet Mall in Primm and Via Bellagio, a row of exclusive retailers such as Chanel and Moschino. The well-established Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip are also planning expansions.

  • So when it comes to dining, shopping, casino action, outdoor recreation and every form of entertainment you can imagine, Las Vegas has anything and everything.

Here are the New ones to visit,
  • Make sure to stop by the Bellaigo to see the Mystic Waters. Its outside in front of the beautiful Casino. Show starts at 2pm and plays every 15 mintues. Stop enjoy the water and the music.

  • The Mandalay Bay has a little of everything. Stop and go surfing in the wave pool, swim in the wonderful pools. As you step into the casino you will feel like you have just stepped into a whole differnt country. The beautiful artwork in the way it was built is awesome!
