Terry Fogarty

Born in Sydney, Australia. Terry has lived in the western suburbs, inner city and north shore of Sydney. He studied at Sydney University (Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours) and Macquarie University where he tutored, lectured and read for a Doctorate of Philosophy.

Over the past few years Terry has become active in MATTERS CIVICS. He was motivated into an active role when his local park was threatened by his local Council.

Until recently, Terry worked as the Partnerships Manager and Education Manager for Open Net Pty Ltd , providing on-line services via the Internet to educational organisations across Australia. He has now joined Centura Software. Prior to joining OPEN NET Pty Ltd, he worked with AT&T and NCR involved with government solutions. He has also undertook process re-engineering, strategic and business planning, quality systems projects and internal information systems projects.

After leaving Macquarie University in the mid 1970's, Terry secured a position as a town planner in the Strategic Planning Section at the Council of the City of Sydney. In this role he was involved with planning teams on the following significant projects:-
