Sanctioned League
EVERY person, young or elderly, men and women and the kids too, can pitch horseshoes and be a part of the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association. "The Sanctioned Club / League Program" is a promotional program for the introduction of horseshoe pitching, to promote the game of horseshoes as a competitive, healthy game, in an organized manner, which a league format does. The program offers many participant awards and national recognition for the accomplishments of pitchers and clubs Brighton Horseshoe Pitchers Club joined the NHPA Sanctioned Club/League Program in 1998 with Steve Summerlin as its League Director. If you would like to join us, contact any of the officers or come out to the courts at the Scranton Middle School off Maltby Rd in Brighton. We play every Tuesday evening at 6pm beginning the first week of May thru Early August. |
