ALL MEMBERS SHOULD:
1. Have Oral or Documented history of their ancestry.
2. Be FAMILY oriented and have high moral character.
3. Have a desire to honor and respect the traditions and established authority of the Over-Hill
Cherokee people.
4. Have an interest in studying the history, language, and customs of the Over-Hill Cherokee
people.
5. Have a desire to work for the conservation of our environment.
6. Have an interest in obtaining the highest educational standard within their ability.
7. Be willing to stay free of alcohol and drug use or addiction to anything else that would
dishonor their Name or that of the Nation.
THERE WILL BE NO TOLERATION OF WITCHCRAFT, FORTUNE TELLING, BLACK MAGIC,
OR ANY OCCULT PRACTICE OR ACTION THAT WOULD DISCREDIT OR IN ANY WAY
DISHONOR OR BE INSULTING TO THE NATION.
