Searching Haynes side of my husband's family. His grandmother, Genevieve Haynes. Her father Thomas Asa Haynes. His father Asa Philander Haynes. Question -- didn't see Thomas Asa Haynes listed as one of children of Asa Philander Haynes and Mary Parsons. Didn't find Thomas Asa Haynes as one of their children on Troy Twp. 1850 census either. Perhaps Thomas Asa Haynes father is not Asa Philander Haynes as reported to me by Genevieve Haynes before her death. Any ideas? Thanks.

found more information on your site than any other. My father is Lewis Alan Holtzberger, born in Kenton, Ohio, Hardin County. I never knew his father. I think the name was Clarence. I have a shaky family tree done by an aunt as a high school project b t can't lay my hands on it at the moment. If I find it, I'll write again. Interested in finding out when ancestors came from Germany (or maybe Holland, "holsberg") and what part of Germany they were from.
