Description of the coat of arms*

Bühlertal belonged to the Lords of Windeck and assumed the Windeck coat of
arms on the suggestion of the general state archive. On a blue shield a gold
(yellow) diagonal stripe with a black B, inlaid in a silver (white) shield. In the
heraldic left shield corner so-called free quarter.

 

Gemeindewappen Bühlertal

Beschreibung des Wappens

Bühlertal gehörte den Herren von Windeck und nahm auf Vorschlag des
Generallandesarchivs das Windeck'sche Wappen an. In blauem Schild ein
goldener (gelb) Schrägbalken mit einem schwarzen B, in silbernem (weiß)
Schild belegt. In der heraldisch linken Schildecke ein silbernes sogenanntes
Freiquartier oder Freiviertel.
