The lead singer of the Australian rock group INXS (``In Excess'') hanged himself in
his hotel room in Sydney, Nov.22,1997. Michael Hutchence was 37. His death came on the eve of
the group's 20th anniversary tour. The suicide has apparently shocked
everyone...Hutchence was planning to marry in January.
