Hi! I'm Flameon, the official biographer of Spirit Dawne.

Let me tell you, this young woman was a battle to catch and even harder to get to sit still.

From what she eventually did tell me, this is a lifelong trait of hers, inherited from her ancestry and encouraged by her family. They seem to enjoy running around like little dragonettes without a charge! Humph!

Spirit Dawne is something of an ancestral quilt. In her veins is the blood of European pioneers, fierce Apaches, and proud Chippewa.

These blended heritages have formed in our young proprietess strength of spirit, clarity of heart, openess of mind, and determination.

From the time she was just a wee thing until she finally neared adulthood, Spirit Dawne spent her summers in Red's Valley, situated below Mammoth Lakes.

The direct contact she experienced with Nature and Her bounty in this mountainous escape nurtured in her a deep respect for Mother Nature and an even deeper love for the freedom there.

These summer adventures led to the desire for a larger adventure...

So much larger that it had to take place an ocean away in Australia and New Zealand. Through a program called People to People, Spirit Dawne acted as a Student Ambassador and toured the beauty of these two islands.

She got to feed dolphins, pelicans, and kookaburras as well as swim with giant turtles, seals and colorful fish. Her wanderings took her sledding down giant sand dunes, sleeping in a sacred Mauri dwelling, and walking beneath some of the tallest trees of the world, Kauris.

As Spirit Dawne grew and came into her own powers, her inherent curiosity drew her into the search for knowledge (a.k.a. school) and there she has blossomed into an inquisitive, creative young woman.

This thirst for more and more knowledge led her to the next arena: college....

There Spirit Dawne learned to truly flex her wings and soar to new heights. She set out with a dream of studying veterinary medicine and kept on that course for three years. However, in her fourth year of college, she met and fell in love with an extraordinary individual. Spirit Dawne realized just in the nick of time that her priorities in life had changed just a bit and changed her plans to accomodate these new dreams of a family.

Now Spirit Dawne is near the end of her student teaching. Yes, she decided to put her love of science to good use and try to inspire young, budding minds to find the beauty in the scientific realm. She will eventually be certified to teach biology in secondary institution... Say hello to Hormone High!

In her free time, Spirit Dawne takes pleasure in reading, writing, sketching, horseback riding, camping, cross stitching, crocheting, country line dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Her family consists of one rather crazy husband (love you baby!), two loving parents and one sometimes less-than-charming younger sister (she knows Spirit Dawne loves her!).

And, of course, her family could never be complete without the furred relations. This extended family includes one dog (a Chug - chihuahua/pug mix) and one cat (who talks more than a three year old!).

And that's our dear Spirit Dawne.

I hope that you have become as endeared to her as I have throughout my many interviews!
