Welcome to Susan's Page

Hi! My name is Susan and I was a hard working housewife and mother of 2 for about 10 years. I went back to work again about 2 years ago, and am really enjoying it. I am currently working on modifying programs to make them Y2K (Year 2000) compliant. I have a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee and I'm very happy to be back in my field of choice.

My family is the most important thing in the world to me. My daughter is now in high school and is having a ball. My son is in middle school, and somehow manages to play baseball all the time.

For my leisure time, I thouroughly enjoy spending time on the internet, chatting with my cyberspace friends at the IRC chats, and on the mailing list, reading bulletin boards and working on my web site. I hope you are enjoying my web site as much as I've enjoyed building it..

I have now been a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Milan for about 3 years. It is a very rewarding experience to be a part of such a wonderful organization.

JA is a service organization of women who do projects to help the local community. There are seven states with JA chapters in the south. At this time there are about 100 JA chapters. Some of Milan's projects include: Summer Camp for 5th grade girls, Patterson Picnic for the residents of a local group home, drug programs in the schools, and at Christmas we have a program to help give a good Christmas to some needy families in our community. We also paritcipate in The American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life". We have far too many projects to list them all here. To learn more about JA, check out my Junior Auxiliary page.

I'm a huge Dark Shadows fan. I first began watching Dark Shadows as a kid in 1969. I quickly became addicted and waited anxiously for it every afternoon when I got home from school. Please check out my Dark Shadows page.
