The Corliss Family Notes

My family line begins with Mary M. Corliss (b. Oct 1838) married George W. Stevens (Jr) (b.11/Mar./1839). They lived in or around Corinth, VT.
I have only one son listed.
Henry Corliss Stevens (b.2/Nov./1862 d.1/Dec./1927) married Effie Mae Johnson. I have no further information available on Effie Mae Johnson. They had the following children:

Parents of Mary M. Corliss

        George Corliss and Joanna Davis. Married Oct 26, 1645. (This is the second marriage in the town of Haverhill, Mass.)

                        John Corliss1 b. Mar 4, 1648 d. Feb. 16,1698.  Haverhill ,Mass.

(A Farmer, and soldier in Queen Anne's War.)

Married Mary Wilford

                        John Corliss2 Jr. born 1668, Haverhill, Mass. d. 1766. 

        Married Ruth Hayes.

                                Timothy Corliss b. 1717 Haverhill, Mass. d. 1760.

                (A farmer in Haverhill and Norwich, Conn.)

                 Married Ann Willoughby, Norwich, Conn.

Married Hannah Silver
There is mention of a Cousin, George Henry Corliss b.2/Jun/1817 who invented the Corliss Steam Engine.
Also mentioned is a distant cousin that married President Grover Cleveland. They had a daughter Ruth.
If anyone can supply me with more information it will be greatly appreciated.
I am still looking over more information on Mary, will continue to update this soon. I haven't had time to really redo this page, just in bits and pieces.
