Through we're some smaller than you or your hoss.

Cowboy Poetry is an event that needs to be experianced! I will do my best to give you a feeling of what it is all about. I was first introduced to Cowboy Poetry when I married into the Peden family. My father-in-law and sister-in-law are performers at the gatherings. They are not poets themself, but are singers. ( I hope to add a sample of thier new CD as soon as I figure out how to do it!)
The poems are written by real life cowboys, about the cowboys life. Some will make you laugh, and some will make you cry. A person really needs to listen to the cowboys themself perform the poetry. ( I will also try to add a sample of a cowboy reading) If you happen to be in the area, here are some dates of some gatherings.
