MY PETS
I aquired Molly in 1991, on August 26. She was brought in to the animal hospital, where I work, just a few hours old. She was so tiny, that you could hold her in the palm of your hand.
Raising her by hand was a wonderful experience, and I would do it again. I fed her special milk replacer from a bottle, every 30 minutes at the begining. As she got older, her personality came out!! She is quite a character. She will wait for me by the door until I get back. She follows me around the house, Mike calls her my "Shadow"!
This is her at 5 days old. Her eyes and ears haven't even opened up yet!
Here is what she looks like now. Can you tell one of her favorite pastimes is sleeping!
Maggie
Maggie is the latest addition, she was born on August 10,1997. She is gray, with a white belly, and has some orange in her. Her history is similar to Molly's, in that she was also droped off at the hospital. She is full of energy, and wants to play all day long. (and night!)
She is almost a year old now, you think I would have some pictures of her by now! They are coming soon!
