I Choose Jesus!

I'm so glad that you decided to choose Jesus today!

Here is what you need to do to accept Jesus in your life.

You must know that God loves everyone and wants all to become members of His family.

This is how God showed His love among us. He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Sin prevents us from becoming members of God's family. The Bible says all have sinned.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. James 4:17

The punishment for sin is eternal separation from God and heaven. This is spiritual death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Jesus took this punishment for us by dying on the cross.

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Salvation is free, a gift; we cannot buy it.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8,9

We need to repent and ask forgiveness for our sins.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out. Acts 3:19

If you agree with this, so far, now is the time to pray. All you have to do is to admit that you are a sinner, believe on Jesus, confess your sins to Him, repent, and ask Him to forgive you. You can say a simple prayer, such as:
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. But I believe that you died on Calvary for my sins. I believe that you have the power to wipe my sins away. Take all my sins away from me. And throw them as far as the east is from the west. I'm sorry, Jesus. Forgive me. And help me to live the life that you want me to live from now on. Thank you, Jesus, for coming into my life. Amen.

Through faith in Jesus and His sacrifice for us, we receive freely the gift of salvation. Then give thanks to God for His gift.

Yet, to all who received him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved--you and your household. Acts 16:31

Pray your own prayer of thanks, right now, thanking Jesus for removing your sins.

Tell others you have received Jesus as your Savior.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord." And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

One of the best ways to get involved with Jesus, is to start NOW! Tell everyone you meet what happened to you and what can happen to them!
That was surely easy, wasn't it? Now, it's up to you to grow and remain in Jesus. How can you do that? By following these steps.

Read the Bible every day. (But if you do miss a day, don't throw in the towel, just start again the next day!)
Pray every day. (Same as with Bible Reading)
Go to church regularly. (That means everytime doors are open. The more you stay around the Family of God, the closer you get to God.)
Whatever you do, listen and obey God.
