Introduction

People frequently ask me whether a long haired cat,
such as a persian, sheds more than shorthaired cats.
I tell them from my experience ...no.

Persians have long beautiful soft coats.
In order to keep them looking their best,
I recommend the use of the following products.
As with people, cats have different coat/hair textures,
and varying degrees of oilyness and dryness.
It may take some experimentation
on the part of the cat owner
to determine the most effective shampoo.
The one you use when your pet
is a kitten may change as they enter the adult stage of life.

The decision to share your life with a cat/kitten
or pet of any kind is a commitment.
Everyone choosing to do so must think responsibly.

For a good overall maintenance shampoo with excellent
results, I use Health Guard Shampoo from Revival.
