Boots Too Big to Fill:
A Tribute to Gene Autry
Label: Rainy Day Records
Some of the greatest names in music have come together to celebrate
Gene Autry's 100th birthday with this special tribute album.
Recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles by artists who grew up admiring Gene,
and a few who even knew the Cowboy personally, Boots Too Big To Fill
highlights songs that Gene wrote, made into big hits, and ones he featured
in his movies, radio shows, and TV series. Rather than re-create the songs
the way Gene performed them, the producers let each song tell them
how it wanted to be sung and played by these world-class artists and
musicians of today.

Hey Saddle Pals,
What an amazing time in my life!! I have been speechless
more often than I can say - SHOCKING,
I know (ME - SPEECHLESS HA)!!!
That is definitely a sign that I have simply been taken aback!!!
Here are some amazing updates that simply cannot be overlooked:
The contract is signed
I am working with some AWESOMELY TALENTED PEOPLE...
there has been a HUGE INTEREST from the entertainment world!!!
The project has all but taken on a life all its own
and I am certainly feeling like the whole thing is SURREAL.. I am sure
that at some point it will sink in, but Im just not too sure when, maybe
when I get to meet IAN TYSON, JIM LAUDERDALE, VINCE GILL,
JOHN ANDERSON or RESTLESS HEART
just to mention a few of the names
who are planning to participate!!!!
And there will be more to come I know!!

The response to my fan club has been much larger than what
I anticipated which is very humbling to me, just to think that so
many people are on my team is quite an honor. Your support is not just
a small thing, in my book it is VERY BIG, as it should be to any band
or vocalist... If you haven't had the chance to join yet, just send
your current contact info to charlotteautryfc@tulsacoxmail.com, it's FREE and
simple - you just can't beat it!!

Along with all of the afore mentioned items of interest,
I have been doing a thousand things all at the same
time, stretching my multi-tasking to the max, trying to get the rest of
my business items lined out: a manager, booking agent, sponsors and a
band just to name a few. Along with singing, writing, playing the guitar,
and lining up some gigs.. If you have any information that you think
will steer me in a good direction, DO NOT hold it to yourself, feel free
to email me at any time charlotteautryfc@tulsacoxmail.com - I may not get
to answer immediately, but Ill definitely get to it in a couple of days..

Well, I'll be updating again soon to let you know how
things are progressing and in the meantime, as daddy always
says "Drive level" & God bless.
Your saddle pal,
Charlotte
