I love to work on crafts. Presently I am into birdhouses. I bought some plain wooded ones. I sand ,prime, draw, paint, decorate and seal them. They have turned out good so far. This will be family Christmas presents.

1/6/98--My sisters loved their birdhouses----

I like to cross stitch. I have completed quiet a few projects that hang on the walls of our home. I am working on a "Bless This Nest" scene with big sunflowers and what else but a "birdhouse"!!

5/8/98 Have just finished my cross stitch picture. It is really cute and has The Roysden's stitched at the bottom. Now to get it framed. My next one is of cats. It is same size as the one I just finished.

Trying new recipes is a challenge. My family would rather I stick to the basics but I still sneak in new dishes . I like to cook low-fat and especially like new soups and chicken recipes. I always try a new recipe at family gatherings. So far, I've had all good results at these functions. I hope to pass on to you the new dishes I try and please let me know your results and if you liked it.

I love to read. Please check out my very short book review section.

I have a lot of house plants and outside flowers. African violets are my favorite house plant and I love the giant daffodills in the spring time. I always plant fall bulbs. I have found this is easiest to maintain.

I love being a wife and Mom. My family is the most important aspect of my life. In today's world, it is so hard to bring up children with good values. I pray Donielle will be a caring, giving person. .

I am into the soap "Days of Our Lives. I never thought I would be one of those women who watched soaps but I got hooked when my Doctor put me to complete bed rest almost 12 years ago when I was pregnant. I taped it while I was working but now get to watch it directly. Sometimes, I wonder about myself as the story lines are quiet "unusual" but I can't seem to pull myself away. I have found a great site for all kinds of information and for up to date(and future) storylines at Beth's Days of Our Lives Page

I make 2 loaves of sourdough bread each weekend. I never buy rolls and such anymore. I started 4 years ago and now my weekend is not complete if I don't make homemade bread. It is the best bread. You don't have to make it each weekend, but you do have to feed your starter every 7-10 days.
