Hello! I'm Michael, and as you may have already guessed, I am a Taurus. I grew up in the small town of Hanover, Pa. Actually it's kind of funny I refer to it as a small town, as it has probably tripled in size in the last 40 years. If you would like to watch me grow up in pictures, you can view um here >> My Childhood << At the age of 17 I had lost interest in school in general, and quit to attend a Technical school for radio and television repair in Pittsburgh, Pa. However when I arrived there the course I was going to take had been dropped. As they offered a course in Telecommunications I decided to stay and give it a try, finish getting my G.E.D an establish myself a career. After being there for 6 months, I'd gotten my diploma and was not satisfied with the telephone course and came back home. My town had nothing to offer me at that time, so I signed up for the delayed enlistment program for the U.S. Air Force in August of 1981. I finally went Active Duty in January of 1982. I finished up boot camp around the end of March and was given an assignment as a Antenna Specialist about 1 week earlier, however this assignment was canceled about 2 days later and another given to me as a Corrosion Control Specialist. Since I'd not signed on under a guaranteed job, I had to accept this and hope that I could cross-train to the profession of my choice later. In the meantime I was to be stationed at RAF Lakenheath, England for my first assignment. I attended Tech School at Sheppard AFB, Texas and then went on to my assignment.

Sept 1998 found me a job working in the electrical/electronics section of a major Department store. Although it was not a job for an Electronics Technician, it was much better than the factories that I first started out in where I started to develope Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. In May 0f 1999 I had managed to change jobs at the LOWES Store and became an Appliances Specialist, Which resulted in a Salary Position and more pay. I remained there until the 27th of March 2000. My Brother had opened a Computer Repair store in the front of my home, so I decided to quit and help out with the business. I got a part time job to help out with expenses. Unfortunately the business ended up failing.

Nicki - New Mexico In December of 1999 I'd gone out to meet a Larissa, The New Daughter I've been blessed with!on-line chat friend (Nicki) in New Mexico, who had been one of my on-line acquaintances. We got along very well for the 2 weeks I spent out there, and in June of 2000 Nicki came to spend 2 weeks here with me. Sometime in between the 2 visits we decided that we were going to get together on a permanent basis. Nicki had been in a relationship when we first met on-line, but this this ended some time back, but not before leaving her with a young daughter of her own(Larissa). During the time Nicki and I've spent together Larissa has gotten attached to me, and I considered her as my own. She was 3 years old and I was the only person she would actually talk to on the phone when she was a bit younger. As I've got a cute photo of Larissa I've added it to the right, and had things worked out as planned. The three of us would have been a family. My initial plans to head out to New Mexico in 2001 had been delayed with the closing of the computer store and my finding a new home for myself. I was looking to head to New Mexico in April of 2002. Well things did not quite go as planned, and around Dec of 2002 I chose to not continue the contact at all as this would probably work out better for both of us with the way things had gone. In April 2003 I moved, into a small one room efficiency apartment, got a new job at a light manufacturing plant in a local town, at a better wage. As for Nikki and myself getting together, it fell by the wayside I chose to not continue the contact at all as this would probably work out better for both of us with the way things had gone. In May 2003 got my truck back on the road after nearly a year without it. I traded the truck on a used 1988 Chevy Bereta in Oct of 2003, and ended up having to quit my job for personal reasons around Oct 2003.

Ellen - My best shotDuring the summer of 2003 I met another young lady in Ohio (Ellen) and started dating her. Things were looking good till about the end of July, but by mid November we didn't seem to be communicating as we once did. We traveled back and forth a few times during the six months that followed, and I even wrote a few poems especially for her. You can check these out by following the link titled "My Poems". Well things went pretty much as I'd expected in the year that followed. I ended up leaving Pennsylvania in late Dec 2003, went to Nashville and obtained a job working for Dell Computers building systems thru a temp service until mid April when my vehicle transmission went out on me causing me to loose the job due to lack of transportation. I then spent about a month in a hotel there till my savings ran out. During this time I met someone in Indiana and was offered a new start there. I moved there.

It's was now Oct 2004. I had spent most of the summer remodeling the house and such and things were ok for a spell. I remained thru the winter, got a job for a bit and took things day to day taking things at face value.... The young lady (Candy) which I've been living with had a baby (Daniel) in Early December of 2004. We had pretty much become a family. On July 4th 2005 Daniel was all but 7 Months old, and Although he was not mine by blood, I treated him as my own and had gotten a bit attached as such as you can probably tell in these photos.

Me and Daniel The family at Ryans July 4th 2005

I had been looking into getting back into college and ended up out of work around the time of Daniel's birth. and continued with some remodeling around the house the next few months, until the end of May 2005. I ended up having a heart attack on the 1st of June and spent 3 days in the hospital. I had a 100% blockage in my right artery and a 50% in the left. I was only 41 then and never expected this to happen at such an early age. Well things didn't go as planned once more.... During my recovery of my heart attack in the 3 months that followed this relationship broke down. I had tried to return to work after 3 months, but nearly passed out on the first job assignment I was sent out on by the temp agency I had signed on with. By Thanksgiving The relationship fell apart and Jan 2006 arrived.

I left Indiana in Jan 2006 spent almost a year with my parents getting my medical situation sorted out with the VA and worked a few temp positions before landing a job as a Maint Mech Apprentice B for a food Cannery for 9 Months making $14.51 an hour, until I could no longer tolorate an arrogant supervisor. I had moved out into my own apartment in Nov 2006, and managed to pay off my car. Late in 2007 I worked at night as a floor maintainer for a company where my cousin was the human resources manager. That position was short lived however and I signed up with a temp agency, and worked for a local Potatoe Chip factory thru them till Sept 2008. The temp agency then sent me to another job assignment which was to be a temp-to-perm position at a cabinet factory. However with the new year (2009)brought new problems with the economy and I was laid off about 15 days before I was due to get a permanent position. Thats where I stand at the moment in my life.

Just a brief summary of the last 12 years..... My daughter will be 12 this year in Aug, which I never received any photos of her as I was promised. I gave up after about 5 years of trying to leave my phone and address with my father-in-law, and never getting any calls or communication at all. Having my heart attack in 2005 has made it more difficult finding work as I can't do the constant lifting or continous work without resting. I seem to be wandering thru life trying to find a job suitable to talents and my current medical situation, and have pretty much given up hope of having a family life with a wife and children. I have pretty much settled into Bachelorism for the remainder of my life. Although I've met a few possibilities in the past few years for a relationship, it seems it's just not in the cards for me as most of them are just to far away, or get cold feet when it comes time to meet up and possibly make a go of a relationship.
