WHETHER FROM THE FORTIES, OR THE PRESENT, IT'S ALL GREAT STUFF!! I'm really into the "Swing" sound...I love the Big Bands from the 40's!! Can't swing dance worth a shit, tho!! Can't DANCE worth a shit, period!! LOL But...doesn't it make ya feel good??

Now...I'm not that much of a Country music fan, but...Garth Brooks & Randy Travis aren't REALLY Country, like I THINK Country is--all twangy!! Did you know that Country music is also known as "the poor man's Blues"??!! There ARE some good "gettin' drunk" songs, tho'!!

OK...The 60's were my "starting-to-grow years; you know...those puberty years??"...I used to listen to these groups on a little record player, and sing my ass off along with them!! Early karioke!! LOL (I was ahead of my time!!) Most of my record collection during this period were 45's, instead of albums. Long since, I've sold, or given away, all of them!! What an IDIOT!!! The only radio stations we had were AM (blechhh!!!) that played 1 song per hour. LOL

AND then...the 70's brought my "breakin' out" period...Learnin' who the hell you are!! Rebelling against authority!!! Doin' more hangin' out with friends & experimenting with things--ALL kinds of things!! Ahem!! We also had FM stations that played the top hits, and sparked my interest in collecting...I started my record collection of nearly 500 music albums during this time.

The 80's...I was married...but, even tho' my ex-wife was not a music-lover (and STILL isn't...her loss!! LOL), I STILL maintained my love of music ('cause that's THE only way to happiness!!) These were the years that my kids came along...My fervent hope was that I could instill my love for music in each of them. I could be wrong, but I feel I DID do just that!!! They ALL played instruments in school, & they ALL love the heavy metal, grunge, alternative rock type music, PLUS, they don't mind hearing all other genres, JUST LIKE THEIR OL' MAN!!!

The 90's to NOW..I got divorced in the beginning of the decade..I linked up with a wonderful woman named Wanda...and we BOTH enjoy these sounds!! I may be in my 40's, but music...IS TIMELESS!! You might be surprised at the following selection of groups, but these are some of the groups I am currently loving!! If ya know me, (My inner hippy, hard rock, & rebellious self)...you understand... LOL

There are many things you can say good about LIVE, but...I CAN SAY......THEY'RE FROM MY HOMETOWN!!
