J.P. is a registered full-blood Rottweiler. She was born on August 1, 1993. Her registered full name is "Woodhaven's Jet Setter". Rottweilers get such a bum rap when it comes to peoples' images & knowledge of them. Jetta is THE MOST friendly dog that I have ever owned (and there's been quite a lot!!). She'll pee on you before she would bite you!! LOL!!

On April 3, 2003, we had to have JP put to sleep...she couldn't control her bladder anymore, and her back legs were always giving out on her, causing her to just drag herself around. We couldn't stand to see her suffering anymore; she was old, in Rottweiler years---about 84 in human years...She was THE BEST dog I ever owned, and I'm missing her so bad........I love you, JP........

...And here's Percy ("Purrsy McAss", as I call him!!), one of our cats. We got him at the local S.P.C.A. in 1997 (he was about 1 year old) and he's ruled the house ever since we brought him home!! A "window" cat extraordinaire, he has his little nose prints on EVERY window in the house!! He's also quite a talker...he always replies when you say his name. And he does this stretching-thing...did you ever see a cat stand up on their hind legs, with their one front leg braced against a wall, & then stretch out their other front leg?...He does this all the time!! Odd, huh??
On Jan 1, 2004, we found Perc laying dead on the basement floor; just old age, I guess...I miss his friendship...

...And lastly, the newest addition to our menagerie, is Lizzie (I call her "Li'l Puss"). She was born on a farm, and given to us in 2002, when she was 4 months old. She's pretty damn brave with the dog...not like Percy, who's afraid of Jetta. I guess being around dogs at the farm made her that way. She's a talker, too, & responds pretty well to her name. When you scratch her back, she raises up on her hind legs, just like a prairie dog!! LOL Now she's our only pet, but we're looking for a friend for her, 'cause she's soooo lonely.
